Keep your child fit to protect heart health for later!
Staying active is important for everyone to keep their heart health strong. A recent study has found if you start being active and fit as a child, it could lower your risk for heart disease as an adult. Each 15-percent increase in fitness as a teen led to an 18-percent reduced risk of heart disease later in life. Although it is great to be fit early on, remember that it is never too late to start being active for your heart health!
